Coors is really great when its scorching hot out, and you don’t feel like a beer.
Looks like Minnesota is in violation of the Commerce Clause.
I’m not sure if this is still true, but in the late 70s, Wisconsin had a law that promoted local beers, and part of that was that if the brewers didn’t sell across state lines, they didn’t have to pay federal or state alcohol taxes.
I would think this has to do with not paying the appropriate taxes.
Spotted Cow is a cream ale, not a farmhouse ale. And while quite drinkable, it is my least favorite of New Glarus’s beers (two thumbs up for Fat Squirrel, even if the brewery is owned by a couple of lefties).
That said, I should have taken a case of Spotted Cow along last weekend during my trip to Nashville for the NRA convention, and tried trading it for a case of Zombie Dust when passing through Indiana.
That is great beer!
Oh, no! The horrors!!!! All this while real crimes are being committed. Include this with all the other ridiculously stupid outdated laws that should have been wiped off the books decades ago.
They’re not following the New Glarus motto: of drinking “indigenous”
New glarius beer is owned by a socialist. She spends heavy for democrats and liberal causes. When you drink a spotted cow, you are helping the enemy.
Too bad they don’t pursue illegal aliens which as much vigor and outrage there.
Heads up (or bottoms up) Wisconsin brew lovers. Minnesota bar busted for selling Wisconsin beer.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
So it’s the Great Beer Caper, eh Toody and Muldoon?
Things must be good in Minnesota.
Did the police roll out the beer barrels into the street and smash the kegs with axes? What is this? The 1920’s?
Thank God all the important problems have been solved!
How dare they sell ILLEGAL BEER?
It’s almost as if they thought they were running a business selling a product people want in a free country!
Jail for them all...
