Lev Tahor is a cult of a couple hundred previously non-religious Jews from Israel. Rimanovers have been around for 200 years and are a rather normal part of the larger Chassidic world. I believe this guy’s name is Mendel Goldberger.So is this particular rabbi with the "cult" or the mainstream?

Goldberger and Wassertheil are mainstream Riminovers, descended from the first Riminover Rebbe.
Lev Tahor is a wannabe cult that is in no way related. They just came up because they had sought refuge in South America, which was also a stopping point for some of the French Jews the Riminover was addressing.
