The Second Amendment is meant to deter overreaching by the Federales. It hasn’t worked. They’re overreaching and not deterred. An S&W .38 revolver is a nice thing to have in peacetime, but if you’re going to have a civil war, you’ll need RPGs and tanks, air power and a navy, just for starters.
