No, hes not a fool, but doing exactly what a Christian should do, which is to call Christians to prayer and call the unsaved to Christ.
The time prayer is way past... maybe 20 years..
Obama is PUNISHMENT to United States... that “it” deserves..
Don’t pray........ “DO”...
You aren’t grasping what he is doing, and what his release is telling you.
He is going to run a 50 state campaign for conservatives to turn-out, vote, and run for office.
“Next year I am planning to travel to all 50 states to conduct prayer rallieswe are calling this the Decision America Tour. I want to challenge Christians to boldly live out their faith and to pray for our nation and its leaders. I want to encourage Christians to get out and vote, and to cast their ballots for candidates who uphold biblical principles.
I want to strongly urge Christians to run for public office at every levellocal, state, and federal. We will not be endorsing any political candidates, but I will be proclaiming the truth of Gods Gospel in every state.”
Prayer is never “over” or “past”. Those are two primary duties for Christians, prayer and spreading the Gospel.
As I said, God is concerned primarily about an individual’s personal salvation, as that was the primary command given by Jesus (spreading the Gospel, for salvation of each person who will accept).
Then, when it comes down to how Christians are to deal with and interact with their government (and this would be any government) ... we are told ...
Romans 13 NKJV
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.
5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Dont pray........ DO..."
If Obama is well-deserved divine punishment, what do you propose we "do" that would thwart God's will?
See how that works?
It is interesting how at first you pretended this is about voting, doing.
“”Dont pray........ DO...””
When post 32 points out that Graham’s plan is doing that, a 50 state campaign to increase the number of conservatives and to get them to turn out and vote, and to run for politics, you switched arguments to ‘do nothing’, because it is too late.
You switched to rambling about it being hopeless and too late and that all this “doing” won’t help.
Why did you want to hijack this thread?
It appears from your posting history that you just don’t like Christianity and Christians.
