The person who did this is a pretty sick puppy, no pun intended. By the time the dust settles she may well lose her veterinarian's license and may face criminal charges. She's already lost her job, and I certainly can't blame her employer for that. Who in their right mind would trust the health and well-being of their pet to someone as callous as this woman is?
Because feral cats are somehow different than wild dogs?
This will be an interesting thread. Kitty ping
For one thing, it wasn't a feral cat. It was the pet of some people in the neighborhood.
That video is heartbreaking.
Her only crime was shooting, shoveling and NOT shutting up about it.
Its why I keep my dogs in the yard.
Yes, she didn't shut up about it. She posted it all over her Facebook site and now she's finding out that shooting neighborhood pets through the head is kind of frowned upon by people who love animals. You know, the kind of people who patronize veterinarian's offices? So I would imagine she's sitting at home blaming everyone but herself for what has happened to her and wondering what she's going to do for a living now that her chosen careers and gone down the dumper.
Really. What difference is there between this and hunting big game in africa? Aside from the animals being smaller and more cuddly. It was stupid to brag about it though.
That is spelled breasts not bow
Feral cats around here have wiped out all the ground nesting birds on my property. I’m sure they have done a job on quite of few of the tree dwellers as well. I shoot every one I get a chance to.
I haven’t and will not shoot house dwelling pets that are kept inside.
I've live in a rural area so I have one of those electric fences to keep my dog close to home. The two cats have long since learned that air conditioning and central heating are far more comfortable than summer or winter weather. But growing up I remember neighborhood cats who were let outdoors to roam the neighborhood. And I especially remember my dad's comments when he had to clean up my sandbox. Regardless, this was not a feral cat, it was a neighborhood cat who had gotten outdoors. She shot the cat because she thought it would be neat. She's learning that few people are as cruel as she is.

“Neighborhood pet?” No, it belonged to someone who didn’t care enough about it to keep it safe.
Oh go on...kick in your neighbor's door and shoot fluffy.
We don’t have many cats around here but there are lots of well fed coyotes. Even in the fenced yard I shut my dogs in at night. If they are out of the yard they’re wearing their tags.
There was a big ole tomcat I could see wandering on the far side of the lake. It was hit by a car recently.
Cats = good. Dolphins = good.
Dogs = bad. Sharks = bad.
While I personally wouldn’t do it if I didn’t know it was wild, it is legal to kill dogs that are chasing deer here in Michigan.
Lol, yeah it just happened to “go missing” earlier that day. How unfortunate. Video shows the cat outside with no collar, surely no rabies shot, either.
