On Thursday’s broadcast of Fox Business Network’s “Making Money,” host Charles Payne made a bold prediction when he suggested that President Barack Obama would make a push for slavery reparations.
“The news is a glimpse of much bigger news that is going to come from the White House, next year, I’m leaning towards,” Payne said during his “Payne’s Passion” segment. “I think that there’s going to be an official apology from the White House to slavery in America and then a major push to get cash, and I’m talking lots of cash.”
“Many including those closest to President Obama will push him to make this happen,” Payne continued. “I actually think it would be a major mistake. Instead, Obama should really discuss and focus on all of the progress we have made and how all Americans need to move forward for better days for all of our kids.”

Actually, most of that money went into the pockets of bureaucrats hired to administer it.
It might be worth the money, provided reparations came with the repeal of all welfare and all subsidies to food, housing, and education, and the NAACP, NAN, Rainbow PUSH, etc., etc., etc., all agreed to DISSOLVE, and all black preachers and others signed a pledge to SHUT UP FOREVER.

An apology TO slavery?? So slavery was right and we were wrong?
Affirmative action is reparations, giving a job to a person on what he is instead of who he is, 65 years of poverty programs that were intended not to work, free housing, food, medical. The promotion of “racism” clears the way for extortion across the board. Now we have free money that will be given out with no expectations just becuase your black.
As long as he includes reparations for all the folks whose ancestors owned deadbeat slaves that had to be whipped to get them to do any work....

I wouldn’t mind so much reparations if those getting them leave the country. Make them forfeit their citizenship. Move away. But I would never actually support this because, really, we’ve already paid them in blood and treasure, and we all know it will never be enough. Never. The bitching will never stop. They’ll want more and more and more. What they really want is a race war. They want to kill whitey.

The War Between the States wasn’t started to free any slave.
Slavery was not even part of the equation till the war was two years old and Lincoln wanted to some “moral” reason to continue it. He was also scared to death that England would throw their support to the South. At any time before Lincoln sent his armies southward slaves owners could have been paid off and slavery peacefully ended. The war was started because Lincoln could not afford to let the Southern states go because the South generated most of the revenue for the Federal government. It was all about money and control and nothing else. All Founding Fathers believed in the Right of Secession. No state enters a union they can’t get out of it.
