Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) has endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for president, giving the 2016 contender his first endorsement.
Ted Cruz is committed to restoring the America we know and love," Culberson said in a statement. "He will restore the true meaning of the 10th Amendment to get the federal government out of our lives, out of our pockets and out of our way. President Ted Cruz will ensure that Texans truly run Texas.
Cruz's campaign has struggled to get support from his colleagues in Congress. Fellow Texas Sen. John Cornyn (R) said that he would stay neutral in the Republican primary, and even close ally Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) declined to endorse him.

Hardly. Lee’s solid as it gets. No need to endorse this early. None at all.

If Senator Cruz goes as far as I think he might, it will be different. I do not see him or his potential Admin taking it in the shorts all the time like GWB did and dignity will be back at the WH. More importantly, they won't let putz's like retiring Levin, Schumer, and all their Alinsky hand maidens constantly grind @ Pres. Cruz like they did GWB. Maybe just maybe the ghost of Lee Atwater is out their filling the sails of Cruz, Walker, & Paul. The new era of the not taking any B*ll$h!+ Conservative maybe upon us, and it is good...

Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) is my Rep as well. Unfortunately a bit of a RINO as his district is very conservative.
I am thinking that Mr. Culberson has heard from many of his constituents regarding his recent votes. WE are not happy. And the RINO is trying to cover his behind. Culberson will be primaried in March

I saw Jack Welch endorse Cruz today. I almost jumped from my chair. Politco's all line up for some sort of promise or favor, but Welch is just a retired guy with lots of weight on Wall Street. Wall Street will be pulling for Hillary and Bush for the most part. It's impressive that Welch makes up his own mind. I usually don't think endorsements count for much, but to endorse Cruz shows he can get the votes in different areas. To think that Cruz would just be a tenth of the Tea Party vote is not impressive to the rest of the world, but having a bevy of endorsers from various backgrounds brings him up in the news mentions. Huckabee will announce May 5, and IMHO, it will just be to siphon off votes from evangelicals for Cruz.
I believe the Republican will win, so right now is the time to support your candidate that you want to win. Don't cry about Cruz if you wait and then are forced to vote for Bush and a $billion dollar campaign. Hillary may even be indicted by the time of the election. so we will most likely win. There are several candidates that are impressive we have to vote for, but I think Cruz is absolutely the best one we have. I haven't found one thing he and I disagree on and he is honest enough to fulfill what he says he will do. I used to like Rubio, but then the immigration issue came and he dirtied his diaper. There are 10 or so I could stand to be POTUS, but Cruz is the most "Reagan like" that I see.

Yes, I noticed that right away, and it is pissing me off that there also seems to be a media blackout on whether Ted is even going to attend the NH event. With Ted in the top tier in some polls now, there is no excuse for this.

Palin isn't running. Too much money, too much damage by the media. I love her, but Cruz is still not so soiled by the MSM. Cruz is also more poised to take them on in debates. If Cruz can last till the debates, IMO, he will knock the rest off the stage. He has argued several times before the SCOTUS and won most of them if not all of them.( haven't studied the exact number)
