We can look at the history of Western Civilization and learn of the contribution and influence Christianity made. We can also look at various attempts in that history to purge Christianity from from society. We can see what a society influence by a fanatical, bloodthirsty religion looks like today.
I think our best bet is sticking with the traditional values of Western Civilization.
I absolutely agree that traditional western values are to our benefit. How we preserve those values with that objective in mind are a subject for reasonable debate.
I worry that by being so attuned to what Caesar is doing this week or next that we become of Caesar rather than of God. I think prolife Inc. is a perfect example of that dynamic in action.
