Why not a very long time, since the signs that it is at the door are already on the world scene? What could possibly hold it back even within a few years? Even with an Israel-friendly POTUS in less than two years, the "rest of the world" is no longer restrained by the USA, in their opinion. Obama trashed both Pax Americana and the Monroe Doctrine.
