Republicans’ latest attempt to slow the Obama administration’s climate change agenda calls for new regulations to be halted until all legal challenges are settled — an argument similar to the one President Obama has used when blocking the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
The House Energy and Commerce Committee has begun work on legislation that would temporarily stop implementation of the administration’s Clean Power Plan, designed to force states to dramatically cut carbon pollution. The pollution reductions envisioned by the Environmental Protection Agency could only be achieved by addressing emissions from power plants, particularly coal-fired facilities.
More than a dozen states, along with major energy companies, already have filed lawsuits challenging the EPA plan, which is set to be finalized this summer. The first such cases will come before a federal court Thursday, with West Virginia and Ohio-based Murray Energy Corp. leading challenges to the EPA’s legal authority to impose the cuts.

Just abolish the EPA. Or even just pass a law that prohibits the EPA from passing any regulation and remove its enforcement capability. Or, just defund the agency! No, the STUPID REPUBLICANS-—With Bonehead as their “wise leader” gave that away for a year with CROMNIBUS. Why complain now STUPID PARTY when you had the opportunity and gave it away? I’ve got a better idea- how about SCIENCE prove that man’s contribution of just 0.00137% CO2 to the atmosphere is causing climate change BEFORE ANY left wing puke enacts crippling carbon based fines and regulations.
Lemme tell you- it will be as easy as proving that someone smoking I cigarette in a football stadium caused cancer, years later, in a person clear across that stadium on the other side. PROVE that those specific smoke particulates caused that person’s cancer! PROVE that 0.00137% CO2 n the atmosphere is enough to cause climate change- PROVE a DIRECT connection between warming and man’s piddly insignificant production of CO2- Hell- let’s be generous- PROVE that 0.04% CO2 (the amount produced by both nature and man) is causing warming- Warming happens FIRST- then CO2 rises 100’s of years later- so PROVE that CO2 caused the rise when there was LESWS when it temps began rising-
For crying out loud- the republicans are content leaving this serious issue In the hands of BIASED courts who have been duped into thinking man is causing warming?
PROVE 0.001237% of our atmosphere is the cause of warming by showing a DIRECT correlation between man’s CO@ and warming
Defund the EPA.. Will Obama veto it? sure... just keep sending it to him along with budgets that don’t contain funding for the EPA then explain it to the people (something the GOP is HORRIBLE at doing).

As I’ve said here before, there simply is NOT NEARLY enough CO2 produced by man, in our atmosphere, to absorb anywhere near enough heat to back radiate towards earth in large enough quantities to affect global temperatures- and what’s more, what LITTLE CO2 there In the atmosphere produced by man will only absorb very little heat, BUT will back radiate an even smaller percentage back to earth because absorbed heat gets radiated out in ALL directions- so only a tiny fraction even makes it’s way back to earth- where it is quickly overwhelmed by cooler temperatures anyways, because there is so little heat making it’s way back
Ask the alarmists just how much heat is making it’s way back to earth then ask how much of that heat is is due to heat captured by man’s 0.00137% co2- We want numbers folks- it’s not enough to say ‘heat makes it’s way back to earth’ we want numbers- actual numbers- How much heat is making it back? What is the volume of heated molecules compared to cooler molecules once the tiny bit of heat makes it back?
For crying out loud- it’s like lighting a match and immediately putting it out the second it flames, in a football stadium, and claiming that that match just caused catastrophic warming within that stadium! That is how LITTLE heat gets trapped by man’s 0.00137% CO2 and back radiated to earth-
Hell, even IF we light a match once a year In that same stadium- for 200 years, it will NEVER cause catastrophic warming within that stadium! There simply is NOT the Quantity of CO2 I n the atmosphere produced by man to cause ANY warming whatsoever! NOT even locally- forget about globally!
Do you think Obama would sign that Legislation?
If not, how many Democrats do you think would join the GOP to override an Obama Veto?
Clean Power has nothing to do with the Government other than monetary support which just confuses the market.
GOP holds the majority in the House, where all revenue/spending bills originate.
Defund the EPA and put a stop to this nonsense once and for all.
Unless, of course, the GOP is in agreement with what the EPA wants to do.
