Tim McGraw. Ha.
What passes for country music today is horrible rap-pop garbage. Every song has three things: partying, getting drunk and whoring around with no deviation from the three. I hate it as much as I do rap.
If old lefty Tim knows what is best for us then I invite him and Faith to turn in any guns they may have and fire their armed body guards. Until these Tim and Faith how about you stick to attempting to sing and just go away.
Is it Tim McGraw or Tim McDraw?
Can you show me an action by “Sandy Hook Promise” that pushes more gun control?
Every thing I’ve found so far does not show their money or actions pushing gun control. They talk about firearm safety, but mostly they seem to deal with the real problem, the people willing to kill others.
I can’t argue that we need better mental health services and that mentally ill people should probably not have easy access to guns, but it sounds to me like they want expanded background checks. We all know they probably would not stop with that.

Well if I had ever listened to anything he said or sang I would have to quit...but I haven’t, so I can’t.
Thanks. I hunted through their web site for a while. I suspect many of the board does want more background checks. But I only found the actions and the info the organization pushed in other areas, primary focusing on the people that would cause the problems.

Oh they say that country music’s
Gone to town!
Farmer John’s done
Put on a cap and gown!
What’s a Country boy to do,
What’s this world coming to,
When they say that country music’s
one to town.
McGraw was beaten up pretty good by the usual suspects back in the 90’s for Indian Outlaw. Maybe he still feels the need to prove his bona fides to the Commissars.
ahahah Thanks!
bttt
Well will he bring “The Dixie Chicks” with him?????????
Amen. It's just silly people, faking accents, singing pop and soft rock, while wearing cowboy hats. Pathetic.
Matt Watson Your tour is called shotgun riders but your attending an anti gun rally....

Nada B North He learned about this show this morning. If you were real fans, you'd know that he was blindsided by it. and Matt, it's not HIS TOUR. It's TIM MCGRAW'S TOUR!

Debbie Hammond Yes, get the facts before badmouthing Billy! Tim's people made this show a fundraiser without seeing if Billy was ok with it. Billy is not political at all, and is furious that his name is on this!!

Mike McDermott Then we can assume he is backing out? Since he is so furious?

Nada B North I'm not making one damn assumption on what Billy is going to do, it's his decision, and his management company's, and UMG Nashville. All I'm assuming right now is that there are some very heated discussions going on between ALL the parties. He'll announce his plans when he's damn well ready to.

Nada B North Oh and Mike, do you know WHY Tim is doing the show there?? On Tim's page is listed as a benefit for Sandy Hook. Maybe you'd like to research that too. Maybe the article was the media taking and twisting a benefit and making it an anti-gun statement. Where are all of you on Tim's page ranting since it's his tour???
