I know how I was at 21. If I was married at 21, I'd be divorced by the time I was 22.
Marriage requires maturity and people mature at different times, with some not maturing at all.

Very good point. I was not fit to marry at 21, nor for quite a long time after that. Finally married at 45, and I’ll stay married while we both live.

In 1965 I worked with a 22 year old who had already married and divorced two girls. I have often wondered what it is like to have two strikes against you at that age.
