Would this Dem Ticket be unbeatable in 2016 (Vanity)

OK, I admit it; I'm really scared. IMO, our last hope is to elect a "Ronald Reagan" style Conservative in 2016. Another four years of having a Saul Alinsky disciple in the White House will totally finish destroying this great nation that many of us knew as children and for most of our adult life. Now, what scares me is this:

There is "talk", like it is already a foregone conclusion, that the Dem Ticket in 2016 will be Hillary Clinton and HUD Secretary Julian Castro. I'm wondering; would that Ticket, first woman POTUS and first Latino VEEP, be unbeatable? And, if that is going to be the Dem Ticket, what can we do to stop them from winning? I know that many FReepers abhor the very thought of "Identity Politics", but, what about a Latino candidate for Prez (The name Ted Cruz comes to mind.) and a woman VEEP? Our culture is not demographically tilted for our team to win on principles and ideology; we're outnumbered. Thank God that most DemocRATS don't vote because, on Election Day, they're in the crack house, the jail house, the half-way house, or the HO house. But, the last two Presidential Elections proved that we can no longer count on that to pull us over the Finish Line as victors.

If it’s Hillary vrs one of our conservatives (Cruz, Walker, Rubio, etc), she’ll get pummeled in the debates.

That would be a big “plus” for our team IF people watched the Debates with an open mind. Most Debate watchers have their minds made-up and watch to root for their guy/gal. Let’s hope that some “true” Undecideds watch and watch with an open mind. It’s a known fact that 47 percent of the voters will vote DemocRAT if the nominee is an Oscar Meyer weiner. But, they don’t watch the Debates anyhow.

Well then, let’s just sit back and let God do His thing. But, judging from the mess we’re in, God must really be pissed at the good ol’ U.S.A.; and deservedly so.

I figured that would be your response.

You should have come back at me with James 2:26: “....Faith without works is dead...” Come on Catherine.... you’re slipping.

No, not really.

Besides, if you already know it, you don't need me to point you to it.

“So who in the GOP could’ve defeated Obama in 2008 given the way current events turned out? “

Someone unafraid to pound on Barky’s radical past. Something McCain didn’t do.
