An Oklahoma man's last few moments alive after he was accidentally shot last week by a deputy who meant to stun him with a Taser is seen in disturbing video released by police Friday.
"He shot me! He shot me, man. Oh, my god. I'm losing my breath," Eric Harris says as he struggles on the ground with police on top of him.
"F--- your breath," an officer can be heard saying. "Shut the f--- up!"
Reserve Deputy Robert Bates, 73, shouted "Taser! Taser!" before pulling the trigger on his gun, firing one round into Harris.
"I shot him!" the shocked former policeman says, dropping his gun from the recoil. "I'm sorry."
In the video, provided to the New York Daily News, a body-cam captures an officer in a foot pursuit of Harris who is subsequently tackled in the street.

My elderly husband, who was suffering from a severe back injury, was taking our 1996 Caddy to the repair shop. On the way I noticed we had a burned out headlight. I was going to tell the repairman about it, so he could fix that too. Hubby didn’t know he had burned out light. Cops stopped him on the way, about 2 miles from our house to repair shop... They were SO mean and hateful and rude. I feared for his life and safety. A tall thin black cop and a short fat hispanic woman cop. They were so mean and rude and kept him there forever! I still plan to go lodge a complaint. They always act like all citizens, and they are SUPPOSED to be our SERVANTS, we pay their salary... they act like we are all killers, robbers, criminals. They never just talk normal, and tell you that your light is burned out, when you are 1/2 block from car repair shop and you tell them that is where you are headed.
They have no respect for the elderly, who are tax paying, law abiding citizens.... zero zip nada

There is no such thing as an accidental shooting. When guns go off it is either intentional or negligence.
Thank you.

Fight or flight is an instinctive response to attempts at capture. The suspect’s adrenaline is stoked too, and they may not make the best decisions under those conditions.

People that keep making excuses for thuggish third world corrupt behavior is why this unacceptable crap continues.Every day a few more people wake up to the Gestapoization of the police. Ask how Joe Blow with a CCW would be treated by police in a similar situation.

How did the guy in South Carolina resist arrest when the cop asked for his drivers license, and when the guy reached inside his vehicle to get them, the cop shot him, resist arrest? How did the old guy who reached to get his walking cane and was shot for his efforts, resist arrest? Why are you asking me these two dumb questions?
To: TigerClaws
Oh! Well, thank you, now I see it’s ok to kill someone if you’re a cop. Running away is reason to kill. Got it.

Do you know why people are always dumping on the police? Because they f'ing deserve it. There are 900,000 cops in this country. 99.9% or more of them don't murder.
You are a product of the Obama media. They hype or omit what they want you to see or not see.
They will nationalize the local cops or if they can't they will disarm the local cops.
Only people under federal control (and the bad guys) will have guns.

I would hope that conservatives would be all over this.
But I do not understand why you do not see that anything is better than life with your face under the boot. Or do you choose, for yourself, the boot?
This is part of a larger quote from Michael Kelly, the first American journalist killed in Iraq. He's my hero.

The officer will never be the same. Well darn, isn't that just sad!
I'd say the man he just killed will never be the same, not "oh well, colossal mistake, gee whiz. Too bad" Which may not be what you mean, but that's what you sound like you mean.

No one ignores them, it’s obvious that you don’t pay attention at all. Even this ping list pings us to good stories.
But you know, this is not the time or the place. A man has just been shot and killed, carelessly. A “mistake” that should not have been made. Lots of problems with this scenario! Let us discuss this.

You assumed wrong. If you have a broken tail light, or if you are coming down your apt stairs in the dark, and a cop shoots and kills you, do you think that’s right?

You have no idea if it’s 99.9% that are good and responsible cops, you just made that up. Quit making things up.

You hear one of the officers say, "I'm sorry" is another way of saying, "I should not have shot this man". He essentially admits to having acted wrong.
There is a problem with law enforcement killing Amercians.
