The government will never pass up a chance to add more fees to their protection racket charge.

We each have our different red lines. For me it was Obamacare. It’s just funny to me now, in a morbid way.
I see what is happening clearly, but it is because I have not been indoctrinated by TV since 1997. So many people are hopelessly lost, and they vote.
We’re in this all the way to the bottom.

FR is entirely fair. Lib articles get posted as well as conservative ones. They also get objective commentary. It just happens that the liberal oriented ones tend to attract justly deserved derision.
To: Rich21IE
Broadcast television doesn’t charge for their services. It’s all about advertising.

Obama dont need no stinking stamps. He just signs executive orders that become de facto laws. This traitorous puke will be out in less than two years but who will replace him? A Republican like Jeb will give us a partial reprieve. Scott Walker will be much better and will rescind a boatload of 0Zero executive orders/////
A Dem like Hillary or Martin O'Malley will mean the THIRD TERM of Obama

Is there a way to pay your internet bill but REFUSE to pay for the tax portion? That is what I intend to do.

They can have their secret courts extract that information already under hush orders. Why be open about it.

It wont make a bit of difference for the operation of Free Republic or our Freepers posting here. Well go on for as long as we want to keep supporting Free Republic! Dear sir,
You are blind.

Cox did a similar adjustment “to make certain costs visible.” The hint is obvious.

Ultimately, meaning several years out, theyll end anonymity on the Internet which will end public comments; then theyll impose fines and fees to the server operator that will cause sites like FreeRepulic to be forced to charge a hefty fee to access the site. When no one wants to pay $100.00 a month to access a site...it disappears into the ash bin of history. This, like gun confiscation, is the break point. This is when it goes hot.

Nah, Laz, I can’t see why they’d want to bother FR. This is just one big vanity fair in the end. Its activism side, which was always etiolated, is now virtually extinct. If your enemy twiddles their thumbs why stop them.

And the “managed” content. US TV is, every year, becoming more like Pravda and Isveztia in the time of the USSR.

You underestimate the left’s lust for total control.
They want more than your compliance.
They want your heart and mind.
They ultimately want your soul.
The first step in indoctrination is to deny you any independent expression.
ANY independent expression.
Look for “Internet Hate Crime Laws” shortly.
Then look for the FCC to get SWAT teams.

To shut down commentary, and in that manner, shut down readership. HuffPost is a perfect example; they force those who want to comment to login through a verified Face Book login. Comments plummeted and then readership declined. That’s why it was sold.

Yeah, we'll see when they put our eyes out.
Your chortling is a lot like a man sentenced to the gallows, laughingly in denial over his fate. Nothing to be chortling about.
