To: Conservative4Ever

It was a good horse, but you could tell it was agitated and confused. Grabbed by a stranger who didn’t know how to ride, getting yanked on the mouth and hammered through rough terrain. Spooked by a low flying helicopter, and lots of screaming, raving idiots running all around.

There were several times I thought a deputy was going to get kicked.

NEVER ignore a loose horse in a highly charged situation with a bunch of people screaming and running around.

I agree with what you said. When the horse was still in the mix, he kept his cool and tried to avoid stepping on some one then trotted off to one side and just waited. Reins on the ground and he stands still. After having horses and riding in just this type of terrain for years in my younger years, this is a well behaved horse.
