The family of South Carolina police shooting victim Walter Scott is preparing to fire back at the killer cop with a civil suit.

“We will seek every penny of compensation that the family deserves,” state Rep. Justin Bamberg, who is representing the Scott family as a lawyer, told the Daily News on Thursday. “People in society are fed up with people getting away with things like this, fed up with law enforcement abusing the power that they have.”

NO one at the time knew why he was running away. The thug just as easily could have just blown away 20 victims, yet was still not an immediate threat to anyone.

So then why did the cop wait until the victim was 30 feet away before shooting him? Or better yet, why didn't he start shooting at him the moment the victim started running away from his car? If the victim was such a threat to humanity and all?

Why did he run from the car? Rumor has it there was a warrant for his arrest, what was the warrant for, was it a felony warrant? What were his prior arrests for? I’m not going to defend the officer but I would like to know the answer to those questions.

"...from what I saw, the cop doing the shooting did not provide Mr. Scott with Due Process."

Yep, as someone said on a Facebook post about the incident, "that cop protected and served the shit out of that poor S.O.B."

I hope the cop spends many hours in general pop. trying to keep his back to the wall.

The initial dash cam video was supposed to be released today. It wasn’t. We do know the cop had priors of unlawful tasering complaints.

The cop or the guy who had five slugs in his back?

Watch the video. There’s no visible blood or anything gruesome like that. (I’ve got a weak stomach for such things, myself. I can tolerate this one)

And yes. It shows the cop casually dropping an object near the prone man when the second officer arrives. I thought it was the taser, but the cop tasered Scott right before he shot him. Something fell off his belt and he picked it up, then dropped it near Scott. Shortly after that, he picked it up again and resecured it to his belt. (Incidentally, the ‘struggle’ consisted of the officer grabbing Scott by the wrist and Scott twisting away. That’s when he ran, got tasered, then shot)

Every cop needs to wear a body cam. Period. (The cops I talk to are all for this - as long as they can turn the camera off when they go to the bathroom)

Here’s the best broken down version that I’ve seen yet.

Non-payment of child support.

What were his prior arrests for?

Non-payment of child support.

I’m not going to defend the officer but I would like to know the answer to those questions.

It's been on the news.

Watch this breakdown of the video. The ‘struggle’ was nothing more than the officer grabbing Scott by the wrist and Scott twisting away. It’s on there.

If some worthless “civil servant” shot me in the back five times, I sure as shite would hope my family would sue for a huge payday. They’d be damn stupid not to...

He missed a hearing on child support. That was what the warrant was for.

The guy who ran away because he didn’t want to go to jail.

I don’t care if the poor man never earned a dime in his entire life: his family should be bountifully remunerated for his wrongful, horrific death at the hands of yet another murderous civil servant.
