No. Not really. The one thing that really grates me on FR is the delusional and outright denial of reality when it comes to a campaign. Remember those sad Alan Keyes supporters? Despite tons and tons and tons of evidence he was going no where, Keyes' supporters were certain he would win. And they were just shocked when he lost.

I write this as a Cruz supporter, but I would never compromise my intelligence with feigned, feckless denial of reality and that there may be others qualified, too, such as Walker.

See, I can spell his name and acknowledge his presence and actually type that I think the major hurdle to Cruz winning the nomination is Walker.

Yes, I remember. I was one of those sad Alan Keyes supporters. I thought he could have won, if the base had supported him, and if he could have raised more money, and if the GOP-e had not blocked him from the debates, ... if whatever else.

I don't feel so bad about that, because there were plenty of people who thought Bob Dole could win, and McCain, and Romney, and GHWB, and farther back, Ford. GWB barely won, running against a tree.

I don't discount Walker. The GOP-e would support him. He's got that flip-floppy, pandering style that the establishment so adores. We'll see if they can drum up enough money to get him through the primaries.
