He was pretty good and I am a Zeppelin, Who, Boston fan from the 70s.
To say that my wife is shocked and saddened is an understatement. She was a big fan and grew up listening to him since the early 70s.
Interesting that he got his start playing piano in a gay bar or “bathouse” with Bette Midler. Pretty clear from the beginning that he was gay.
Plus you never saw him with a woman in all of these years.
But still I respected him wanting to keep his private life private, but it’s getting harder to do these days.
