I really don’t care if he ‘nuanced’ it up to mean how Johnson governed as a style. If you are expressing admiration for the architect of the Welfare State, you are not ‘the opposition party’.

He is not “clueless.” He is running to prevent a Conservative winning the presidency, that and nothing more. He likely does not truly desire to be President but he sure as hell doesn’t want a Conservative to be elected.
