Umm, I see Tsipras and Greeks in general as dumb if they should make a Faustian deal with Putin. The “certain assets” that Putin would be willing to consider in exchange for a price break on gas would primly be permanent bases and ports for the Russian Air Force, Army and Navy. And, once in place, Greece will become a Russian satellite as they will never get them out. But, stupid is as stupid does :)
Russian ships had always had access to Greece ports. This deal the first time access had been spelled out in a separate accord.......
Russia restructured a 2.5 billion euro ($2.8 billion) loan to Greek Cyprus it signed in 2011,...Now the new deal wiht new President cuts the annual interest rate to 2.5 percent from 4.5 percent and the redemption period to 2018-2021.
