I went to the link and it provided no proof for the hypothesis.

“in early adulthood”
Consistent with the Churchill adage. “...Show me an old Liberal and I’ll show you someone with no brains.”
In the minds of liberals, since they’re always correct, they’re smarter than those who disagree with them. It’s rather elementary.

the willingness to contribute larger proportions of private resources for the welfare of such others. In the modern political and economic context, this willingness usually translates into paying higher proportions of individual incomes in taxes toward the government and its social welfare programs. Liberals usually support such social welfare programs and higher taxes to finance them, and conservatives usually oppose them.
Sure the Liberals like grandiose ideas -- as long as they can get other peoples' money to pay for them.
Sure Conservatives usually oppose them, because those grandiose ideas are funded from taxes and usually benefit only a small segment of the populace.
Obamacare is a prime example. Initially, the selling point was to insure those 40 million uninsured. To date, Obamacare has failed to get even 10 million uninsured to sign up. However, higher premiums and higher deductibles are hitting the middle class who are paying for the Obamacare boondoggle.

Liberals do control the media, or the show business, or the academia, among other institutions, because, apart from a few areas in life (such as business) where countervailing circumstances may prevail, liberals control all institutions.Absolutely no awareness that the money that pays for those institutions is generated by those who have the guts to engage in business despite all the slings and arrows aimed at them.

But the Left (a.k.a., Democrat-Socialists) no longer identify themselves as “liberals”. They prefer “progressives” which, in a sense is a more accurate descriptor (as in cancer is a “progressive” disease).

Satoshi? One quick question... since you're wiser than I, maybe you can educate me...
Why is it that every time Leftist ideals are instituted in a revolutionary push, millions of people are slaughtered? Russia (twice), China (twice), Laos, Uganda, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Hungary, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Cuba, Venezuela, Korea, etc, etc, etc... more people have died in the last 100 years at the hands of their own new Liberal government than died in both World Wars combined. How does this happen, why is every economy in the aftermath utterly stagnant (or worse), and why do you consider mass murder, mass starvation, and mass purges of educated people to be "intelligent"? Just a thought from my pea brain.

but one may reasonably define liberalism (as opposed to conservatism) in the contemporary United States as the genuine concern for the welfare of genetically unrelated others and the willingness to contribute larger proportions of private resources for the welfare of such others. Since every study I've ever seen shows that conservatives give considerable more that libtards, I don't really need to read past the first sentence of this tripe.

I read a little bit about this Satoshi Kanazawa. From his Wiki page .....
“In response to ongoing controversy over views such as that African countries suffer chronic poverty and illness because their people have lower IQs and that black women are “objectively less attractive” than other races, he was dismissed from writing for Psychology Today. His current employer the London School of Economics ........ “
