When I was working in Richmond, my then wife was having great difficulty during her pregnancy with our first son. We left Richmond - she and my daughter moved in with my parents in Maryland and I took a room in Richmond. I commuted between Richmond and Burtonsville, MD every weekend - usually down US 301 - much less traffic. Also Washington's Burgess Route and Patrick Henry's route to Williamsburg for the Burgesses - where he gave the immortal "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death" speech.
