I didn’t think it was that bad of a game. They didn’t call it close, but I don’t like ‘referee ball’. If I did, I go to referee training camp and watch them learn.
But, it wasn’t any referee that was dropping those 3 pointers in a split second after moving around a pick. That was pure shooting ability.
Dukes shooters were hitting, and Wisconsin’s weren’t. Wisconsin’s shooters killed Kentucky, but they weren’t deadeye last night the way they were in the Kentucky game.
Duke just signed a high school kid from our area who hits them from any position around the arc as fast as he can sling them. I think he pops them with his eyes closed.
Tournaments are won by shooters. Rebounders and defense gets them there, but winning comes down to consistent and clutch shooting.
Not taking anything away from the Duke guards. They were spectacular.
