I don't think giving the ball to Wisconsin would have made a difference.

The W player's hand propelled the ball towards out-of-bounds. Duke player's fingernail may have touched but could not be known for sure. One CBS angle of slow-mo close-up looked like it may have hit the tip of his fingernail. This is the one most people saw.

But there was a second angle up close and personal that show the smallest amount of space between his fingernail and the ball during those frames. CBS did not repeat THAT angle. Both slow-mo close-up angles showed the trajectory of the ball was not altered by the Duke player's fingernail.

Knew little about Bo Ryan personally beforehand except that CBS repeatedly said he was "a class act" and things like that. Perhaps he is most of the time, but...not last night.

Don’t really care but replay showed that he Duke player’s finger bent rom contact with ball, tho the ball didn’t.

Not that it would have changed the outcome. Duke won because of its superior guard play. Wisconsin pretty much controlled the paint.

Un you must not have watched the same replay I watched. The guys middle finger bent backwards as the ball hit it. Now hold your hand out flat and try to move your middle finger backwards. Can’t do it. ALso the ball changed spin when it hit his finger.

It’s really obvious from a couple of the angles he touched it. It’s a shame too...Duke could have had a non-ref assist win for the championship.
