I'm with you except I favor Walker/Cruz, and then Cruz/???, reason being Walker is a sitting governor who has successfully and incredibly deftly navigated horrendous liberal/left minefields, and I think he has the hands-on know how how to accomplish this on a national level as well. And that way, too, we have Cruz, vice president and president of the senate, at the top for 16 years instead of 8. The President of the Senate, constitutionally speaking, is actually a powerful position but its powers lie unused, and Cruz (not McConnell) would be in fact in charge.

Well put. That’s how I look at it.

Walker is more appealing to the public for the reasons you state and Cruz would be most effective as President of the Senate, etc.

Interesting thought. I of course favor Cruz at the top of the ticket. But the scenario you outline is intriguing.
