Oh Really? You best re-read the article.
His run in with the cops and arrest was later, but the AA incident WAS NEW YEARS EVE!!!!

No, not that. They’re linking Larry showing up at an AA Meeting on January 31, 2014 - with blood on his clothes and his admission of a fight with a family member to the to Harry’s “workout accident” on January 1, 2015. The DUI arrest was later, and not related to Harry’s “accident” - except for the alcohol factor.

“His parents must have sucked.”
They did, especially his father. He grew up in an impoverished home with a hard-drinking father who was sometimes abusive. At 14, Harry beat the crap out of this old man, which takes gust for a boy that young, and stopped the abuse.
