That's what I had read, along with one or two other similar books. Velikovsky gave me ideas but did not necessarily convince me that the events he described happened as he described and coincided with events recorded in Holy Scripture.
As time has passed since then, I came to view V's efforts aimed at promoting colossal natural occurrences in the sky produced as matters of physical science alone that did not require a God in Heaven as the Cause and which also portrayed the Old Testament as a collection of Jewish legends.

Ignore my comment of today's date, I see you previously replied. I thought the Original Testament WAS a collection of the legends/experiences of the Hebrews?
