Unbelievable "the Silent" of Two-Facedness of the National Media Networks.
A Cruz Walker ticket would be just fine with me.
Ted is going to need to “break the mold” as far as needing the huge bucks for victory.
He showed me some savvy with the targeted media buys he made this weekend.
There is a You Tube of a town hall he did in Rock Hill, SC. His campaign needs to assure that every time he speaks in public that there is a digital record that can be easily shared by his supporters.
Final thought...if he can gain any traction at all in the black Christian community, lightning may indeed strike.
I listened to that Cardinal and got some thoughts .
First I am none too happy about this Pope. Cardinal Wuerl waxed on and on about Pope Francis, how wonderful he is, how he lives poorly, how the people identify with him.
It’s like something out of Walt Disney, give me a break. Christians are being beheaded and murdered all over the world. Of course Wuerl said this should not be.
What would be better is for the Pope to stop cancelling his own newspapers and get out there and make a public stand against such brutality.
Some unknown Cardinal on Fox News Sunday is NOT the ticket.
I agree that more people are tolerant, especially the younger generation. However, I don’t believe most people support this tyranny coming from homosexuals, demanding acceptance under threat of violence. What is it? Three percent dictating to the rest of us? No thanks.
If you still don't buy the chaos version of the Mideast goals of the dear leader et all try and explain this one with isis beheading a hamas leader while cementing an area takeover near Damascus.Go figure.
Thanks for the thread, AB!
As usual bray, you are right on target. What is shaping up as public policy and enforcement in this country today has spooky parallels to what went on in the Nazi Germany. If we don't stop it soon, the end results could be similar.
Fortunately, we have a lot more Christians in this country than there were Jews and Evangelical Christians in Germany in the 1930s. We also are not yet a people crushed by a massive defeat in war, reparations, a miserable economy, and runaway inflation looking for a political savior - although the people in charge are working hard on ringing all that to fruition. We have developed our very own genuine National Socialist Workers Party called the "Democrat Party" peopled and backed by the same types.
History may not repeat itself but it sure does rhyme!
We need to get up and running for the next primary he has regardless of how far out it is.
Juan Williams would deny it but he’s actually a racist. His prism of life is only through the lens of race. Williams’ is the product of his generation of entitlement and affirmative action created.
Great post, now if only you could find the crash car with Juan crashing against the brick wall over and over and over......
So Bobby Jindal on Meet the Depressed. Seems Louisiana is wanting to pass a law that will allow a business owner to refuse service if such service is at odds with their religious beliefs.
Evidently somebody in Louisiana is trying to pass such a law but Jindal waltzed around it....says let him wait and see.
I suppose my thoughts on this might not be popular in the Conservative community but I seriously wonder if this is a battle we want to fight.
I lived through the Civil Rights movement of the mid-60’s. Back then it was fine for a business to not serve someone, say in a restaurant, if they are black.
So the Civil rights act made such discrimination illegal, as well it should have as we know now some almost fifty years later.
Why on earth would somebody object to arranging flowers, or catering, or photographing....a same sex wedding?
PLEASE! this is a Devil’s Advocate question. I would not want to have anything to do with a same sex wedding I’m thinking. But if I owned a business that would make money on same....I really don’t think God would get mad at me if I provided a service.
I also think a decent argument could be made that if America was ready to ban denial of service based on race they should do the same based on sexual preference.
I don’t think passing laws to allow denial of service based on sexual preference is a good idea for the Republican party to go diving in to. My guess it’s probably very few businesses that turn down paying customers for such rigid beliefs.
In other words, I am conflicted.
That is so good.
The President-Whisperer-Valerie Jarrett.
All that really is name recognition.
At this point in time in 2007 very few had heard of Illinois Senator Obama; yet he (sadly) won.
I am convinced that once the campaign gets going in earnest, more and more GOP primary voters will reject Bush.
And in any case, I’m not voting for him!
I heard Ted say that he looked very closely at Obama’s 2008 campaign for tactics that he used. Of course, we do not have to promote fluff and emotion, as O had to. But, they certainly took the grass roots reach to a different level. Cruz recognizes that.
Juan is not a serious person period.
