Superb rant. But this part, in particular, needs to be repeated in big, bold letters:

This battle isn’t about a gay person’s right to be served; this fight is about whether a gay rights activist can use the government and the courts to coerce someone into doing something that violates their faith.

Superb rant.

I am a stickler for using the right word.

Rant

verb (used without object) 1. to speak or declaim extravagantly or violently; talk in a wild or vehement way; rave: The demagogue ranted for hours. verb (used with object) 2. to utter or declaim in a ranting manner. noun 3. ranting, extravagant, or violent declamation. 4. a ranting utterance.

"Rant" (and rave) carries a connotation of one being a bit unhinged up to insane. There is a difference between speaking passionately, clearly and precisely and ranting.

fwiw
