I remember a few years ago they had this great training program to evaluate heat losses from residences......using a thermal detector gadget...(which could be rented for a day at a time).
I later saw one guy with a booth outside a local supermarket....but no takers.
....another "job training fiasco"

A pity in a way... someone shopping for a home might want that kind of inspection to see if the prospective house had any big energy gotchas.
