isn’t that gifts below a certain amount (like $10k) aren’t taxable?

and is that total or cumulative to the recipient?

I think the gift tax limit is around $14K today. I don't know how the IRS treats these gofundme donations. I don't know if they are treated as individuals giving (which would be a limit of $14K) or as one large donation. It would be interesting to find out.
