Why would the media even print a photo of the girlfriend, especially if she’s been hounded out of her hometown. It’s my understanding she was a “former” girlfriend having left the dude due to his psychological baggage so why subject her to the abuse from the lunatic fringe?

That is the way of the MSM.
I remember WWII and the MSM publishing photos of the vulnerabilities of the B-17 for the whole world to see.
I remember the MSM telling the world that OBL was being tracked via his cell phone. He suddenly stopped using his cell phone.
I remember the MSM telling the world that they were determining OBL’s location by the geographical background he was using. He started using white sheets as his background.
Those are simply samples of those I remember off the top of my head.
Haven’t you figured out by now that the MSM is the enemy? They simply do not care who they hurt as long as it gets them the ‘top story’.
Agree, media should leave her alone.
She can discuss w/ authorities what she knows of what was the guy’s mental state before the event, etc.
Other than that leave the poor girl alone.
