In recent days, weve heard from you, our guests. Youve asked us for Targets thoughts about what it means to have an inclusive culture. Youve asked us if, given the current conversations taking place across our country, we were taking a stand. And while most of those have been one-on-one conversations as you have called or emailed us, we wanted to take time to share our thoughts more broadly.
They are simple.
Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. And youll always be accepted, respected and welcomed here.
For example you will never hear Chick-fil-A introduce politics into their daily business operations. Sure, the owners and leadership are pro traditional marriage, but they never try to force that on their customers.
Does this mean Target hates Christians...
Well, most of your big businesses are about doing whatever makes the most money ... LOL ... it’s a calculation ... :-) ...
Here in Bee Cave, Texas the Target is behind the Chick-fil-A. You are absolutely correct about the Target clientele. I avoid it like the plague it attracts.
No ... this just means that they’ll say whatever contributes the best to their bottom line ... :-) ...
Makes it easier when you know what side a place is on.
The beauty is a plethora of other places to get the exact same things at competitive prices.
Targets make crazy people shoot stuff and that’s hateful;)
Dear Target,
You don’t know if anyone is gay until they TELL you they are gay.
So, why the need for an “all inclusive culture”?
Offer products and sell them without getting into politics.

Attention all pedophiles, child molesters,Rapists and Murderers, TARGET WANTS YOU!!
Targay
A few years ago, Target decided to avoid the word Christmas in all its advertising. They caught a lot of flack for that and did not repeat that mistake.
My view of Target is that they never have exactly what you want so you always have to do with a compromise.
Does this go for child molesters, murderers, KKK grand whatevers, Nazis, White Supremacists, ISIS beheaders, Taliban, Islamoterrorists...? Hmmmmmm?
exactly, should a person be run out of business or fined or thrown in prison if they refuse to cater to a NAMBLA convention??
I was just wondering what Target “thought” about this.
I left Canada in January and one week later, Target FAILED MISERABLY to conquer the Canadian market after 2 years. I wished they would fail here too.
You’re welcome here, unless you’re carrying a gun, then you’re not welcome here, unless you’re a criminal, in which case we’ll politely lay down on the floor while you rob us, and loudly berate any customers who might get the bright idea of stopping the crime.
Because we stand up, unless we’re being robbed, for rights, except, you know, ones we don’t agree with...
How about this brilliant idea: HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT UP? Rather than pandering to a TINY percentage of your customers, how about you not respond. Just a thought to keeping what few customers you have.
Everyone deserves to feel like they belong. And youll always be accepted, respected and welcomed here.
So you welcome pedophiles, drug addicts, alcoholics shoplifters etc?
Saying “everyone” deserves to feel they belong is silly at best abnd just bald faced lie at worst.
Instead of Stand Up how about you shut up and just seel items in your store and don’t tell me how to live my life............
You left out thieves, but Target knows all about that, remember how long it took them to tell their customers that their data had been breached? tells you all you need to know how much they care about their customers.
Yep.
