Byrd was the one and original Price of Pork. Not just government buildings, but bridges, roads and a ton of infrastructure as well.

Robert KKK Byrd brought billions of federal dollars home to West Virginia. There may be a lot of jokes about West Virginians including some with much truth in them, but nobody ever accused them of being ingrates.
