Is this not just another step on the fulfillment in the prophecies of Revelations?
Maybe I am reading too much into the series “Left Behind”, which has to do with the rise of the Anti-Christ.
Bronco Bama may not be the Anti-Christ, but he is clearly working for him.

I seem to recall something about Damascus being a ruin in Revelation.
After I typed that line I put Damascus being a ruin in Revelation in my search, and got this:
New Living Translation- This message came to me concerning Damascus: "Look, the city of Damascus will disappear! It will become a heap of ruins.
English Standard Version- An oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.

King James Bible- The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

International Standard Version- A message about Damascus: "Look! Damascus will cease to be a city. Instead, it will become a pile of ruins.
Nothing about Tehran or Mecca showed up, though.
