Hemp probably grows fine in ND. However if hemp farming becomes common hemp pollen will be everywhere and it is going to be just about impossible to grow good marijuana outdoors.

I thought that ND would be a great place to grow hemp. The growing season may be shorter than it is down south, but the day-length is much longer during the summer.

Think about the size of tomatoes & other veggies that you get from AK, for example. That occurs due to the day length that far north. I know ND isn’t as far north as AK is, but still, it is a fairly long one when compared to the rest of the lower 48.
