"It would be helpful to move legislation this week that makes it clear that this law does not give businesses a right to deny services to anyone," Pence said

The law does exactly that when and only when providing services violates one's religious conscience. Perhaps they need to clarify that when the business service is of a religious nature such as a wedding or when the service promotes behavior contrary to religious morality.

There is a difference between not selling a jar of pickles and not selling some custom made work of art that has expressive content.

But of course the condemnation meisters will be hard at work and nobody will actually connect with Pence. Hysteria at its finest. Everybody should be proud.

There’s a lot more to this than just religion.

Does one give up any Right when opening a biz? Association? How ‘bout right to refuse service?

Next I’ll be hearing is the Socialist pretzel logic construct of ‘public accommodation’....as if the biz was created, setup and paid BY/FOR the public. Many another ‘nuance’ I’m not familiar, or some penumbra only the oligarchs can discern from the plain English of the Constitution.

Course, I suspect that’s the ‘price’ to pay when one allows govt to require APPROVAL to live (open a biz...hell, to WORK).
