For example, the Google view shows three lanes going through the checkpoint, with a parking area off to the side, while the helicopter views show no parking area, but four lanes through the checkpoint. And there are other changes in the roadway configuration as well.
So either there has been some very recent road construction around that gate, or perhaps Google is intentionally using old and outdated aerial photos at the request of the Fed Gov.
Not that anyone should be surprised that Google would selectively present untruthful information, but I don't know enough to be certain whether it may just be a date-of-last-image problem or something else.
BTW, we are probably looking at "Vehicle Control Point" (VCP) 6 located at MD 32 and Samford Road, referenced in passing in a planning document dated from 2011 at https://publicintelligence.net/ufouo-nsa-site-m-expansion-planning-documents/
Of course, now I'm gonna be flagged on some list for researching that.
Yes, they must have changed it again.
Macht nichts.
It’s just outdated Google. No conspiracy, although if the Feds wanted it covered up I would not be surprised, and that would be proper.
A few months in labor camp vill improve your research technique, comrade! ;)
