Thanks Editorial Board, but I already supported him.

VS the democrat/moderate version of compromise where the democrats tell the republicans what to do and they do it.

The GOP doesn’t compromise. They give in because they are spineless and weak. Cruz has principles and stands upon him. That, to me, is more admirable than being turncoat douchecanoes.

Washington Post definition of compromise- Republicans agree to all the main demands of the liberals, democrats provide lip service to bipartisanship.

By the way WaPo, did you guys promote compromise when the democrats shoved Obamacare down the throats of everyone?

Has Obama united the country, as promised?

The Editorial Board unsurprisingly doesn’t seem to understand that the states gave the feds the flexibility to compromise on only the very limited number of issues which the states enumerated in Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

In a country that needs to take its political disagreements down a notch, Mr. Cruz’s argument is that conservatives need to crank their volume up.....Crank it up so high that all squealling, moaning and editorials are drowned out.

The Washington Post wishes pesky conservatives would simply disappear.

That’s why they hate Ted Cruz.

With the MSM, its so predictable.

Sen. Barack Obama promised to unite the country.

Well how did that work out, WaPo?

Regarding gay marriage, Cruz should just say, “My position on gay marriage is the same as the position that Barack Obama professed when he first ran for president. But unlike President Obama, I’m not lying.”

I guess Cruz was reacting to this editorial, but I saw him give an interview today where he talked about how well he works with others in the Senate, and how many issues that he has worked with Dems on, mostly dealing with the middle east. I hope he is not trying to have it both ways. Modern gotcha journalism will scour tapes and interviews to find inconsistencies.

“Compromise” is a word used by losers trying to explain what happened.

The WAPO Editorial Board cannot tell the difference between “promising” and “delivering”.

Also, who is this “Constitutional Scholar” from 2008 that they mention in the Editorial? Can’t be Obama, he has no concept of what the Constitution stands for.

Compromise is a Trojan Horse

Pleas for compromise are just a political tactic to advanmce the leftist agenda and erode the constitution.

Every compromise with leftists, large or small, is a loss for conservatives and a gain for the left.

Editorial board, go p*ss up a rope and take your double standard with you.

You jerks have spent all of what little goodwill your readers might have had for you in 2008.

No one but the progressive dead enders take what you think seriously anymore.

“...his aversion to values that are essential to democracy’s functioning: practicality, modesty and compromise.”

What? Interesting the list doesn’t include other essential values; like
Integrity
Honesty
Principles
Morals
Ethics

As long as we allow the dhimmicrap leftists to define the terms of the debate, we will be suckling at the southernmost end of the sow.
Time to throw this stupidity back in their faces.
