I agree, but I guess I think that's a form of insanity, too.
But your point makes me wonder...perhaps he's just an ordinary, harmless buffoon, chosen to be the white face and the Catholic draw on those early campaign posters. In that case, hanging around with the rest of them must have put him over the edge.
