After a day filled with protests and the announcement Angies List is halting its expansion plans, Gov. Mike Pence told the Indianapolis Star Saturday he will support legislation to clarify the Religious Freedom Restoration Act he signed into law Thursday.
I support religious liberty, and I support this law, Pence said in an exclusive interview with The Star, our newsgathering partner. But we are in discussions with legislative leaders this weekend to see if theres a way to clarify the intent of the law.
Pence didnt provide details on the exact language, but said he expects the legislation to be introduced into the General Assembly this coming week.

True there is a Chicago-Indy mafia that essentially runs the business and (allied) union interests in Indiana. They’re also big social libs, almost NYC level. Trust me I used to live there (Columbus) HQ of Cummins located there. Two reasons I hate the Auto Industry:
1) Run by huge liberal Democrats (and some “moderate Republicans” at best
2) Unions are still represented in that industry heavily.
and lastly
3) It consists of mostly repetitive work that just doesn’t interest me, both on the engineering side (heavily regulated by a compliant Federal government, and other bureaucrats, btw..) and on the manufacturing side.
Angies list would be bankrupt by now if not for bail outs and Indianapolis giving them anything disturbed me anyway. Businesses can get crap reviews for making customers pay the bill. I say let them go.
For those who don’t know Angies list has never made a net annual profit in the 20 years its been in business, not once, and is at least 85 million in debt.
the ceo of angie’s list was a donor to mitch daniels. we often wonder why bohner and mcconnell are so useless? its because the corporate donors want it that way.
I once looked into Angie’s List and determined it was a rip off. Then yesterday I was watching something on the tube after spending time getting the yard in shape and saw an advertisement that started out mentioning Angie’s List. As it went on it was actually an ad for Home Advisor.
This will spell the end for Angie’s List.
That is probably an accurate assessment. I like Pence although he has waxed and waned on Common Core.
I wonder what this law means if you are Muslim...is this one that can backfire somehow, forcing Muslim prayers in schools, for instance? Just curious. Nobody should have the right to tell anybody how to run a privately-owned business. Shouldn’t even need a law for that...just make a law to expunge all liberals...one law could fix everything.
Of course, that’s capitalism.
