Are you an airline pilot or in a position where hundreds of lives are entrusted to you? My point was that if the Dr. recognized there was enough of a problem that he wanted his patient to stay away from work, why then leave it up to the patient to follow through with the order. Who says the employer has to be given a diagnosis?

I do NOT support changing this law. We have enough invasion into our privacy as it is.
Now if the patient was ranting to the doctor that he was going to crash a plane into a mountain or felt like killing someone, then there’s an exception for that.
