Something seems just downright ridiculous about this bit about the doctor’s notes. So… Lubitz goes to see his doctor and the doctor writes him a note that says he should be given the day off because he was unfit to fly? Were there other times that he went to the doctor where he was told “yup, no problem…… you’re good to go today”? And the fate of an aircraft depends on whether this nut chooses or doesn’t choose to rip up his doctor’s notes?

Might depend if it was his personal doctor or company doctor.

I don’t know which is the case. Nonetheless, you’d think they would not write a note, but physically call the company even if it were a private doctor. The doctor had to know this guy was a commercial pilot.

Someone is going to really regret helping this guy hide his psych issues, if this story is accurate.
