yes a weak minded young man, very little experience in aviation, some 600 hours of flight, wouldn’t cut it here in USA...would still be flying a Cessna150....
Here in Canada if he was really good he’d have a CPL, instructor rating and multi/IFR. Chances of driving an Airbus at that stage of his career would be slim to none.
If this does turn out to be the case, we can fully expect the TSA to respond by imposing a ban on girlfriends.
