Oh, Dear Lord. I live in Indiana and have a lot of gay friends who are endlessly decrying this law as Jim Crow/a trip back to the lunch counters of the segregated south. I simply provide them with a link to the law, verbatim, including the two amendments the Indiana House added to the bill that specifically dictates that the law does NOT provide a legal defense for breaking established anti-discrimination or civil rights laws.
I think the lefties will look with fondness to what they have been able to do with lies and propaganda in order to agitate and mobilize the ill-informed and the intellectually lazy.
