"grabbed"

Not if robo-pizza guy (RPG) was also equipped with a sensor that electrified him when some unworthy person tried to grab him. Remember RPG could be visually monitored by people back at pizza central for these sorts of events.

The intention is that RPG would be a dangerous uh "person" to try to rob. Very dangerous for certain feral types.

Realistically, these people will be baking Chef Boyardee DIY pizza-from-a-kit in their Section 8 apartments long before any sort of delivery robot is developed.

A logical approach would be to form a united group of all food delivery companies and approach the city police for updates on where the "No-Go" zones are located. That might not be a perfect solution, but it would a smart move for all concerned. Use that same template in all parishes or counties where the police are inclined to cooperate. Make it simple - divide the map into numbered grid squares and get police updates by telephone. Try to get all fancy and use web-based maps and the media will use it against the vendors.

Very workable IF the people monitoring give a damn and aren’t slackers and IF the ‘arming’ of the unit isn’t considered ‘dangerous’ and a menace to the public. Imagine feral mom sending little darling thugette out to get pizza and the innocent baby gets shocked. Think the criminals won’t just shoot the ‘bot? IMO only civilization deserves civilized services-if you’re sub-human, eat out of the garbage.
