In GA they would be wrong. Lots of young patriots. Plus the 41% on the progrs side don’t have any weapons except their big mouths.

I thought that a few yeas ago too. However, one of the largest gun shops in the country is in Colorado Springs. I asked the owner if liberals didn’t buy guns. His claim was that his customer base was truly 50/50. At that very moment a man mentioned to the owner that he was buying a gun because Obama had just been elected and would ban guns...and that he had voted for him. Go figure.
Also, anecdotally, I know a bunch of computer programmers and they are notoriously liberal...they also notoriously own guns. Just m personal observation, but many liberals do own guns.
As far as Georgia being conservative, well, half my family lives in Glennville, GA. Half of those are liberal squeamish types. They will vote Democrat no matter what.
