One Professional Russian Troll Tells All
Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) ^ | March 25, 2015 | Dmitry Volchek and Daisy Sindelar

More and more, posts and commentaries on the Internet in Russia and even abroad are generated by professional trolls, many of whom receive a higher-than-average salary for perpetuating a pro-Kremlin dialogue online.

There are thousands of fake accounts on Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal, and vKontakte, all increasingly focused on the war in Ukraine. Many emanate from Russia's most famous "troll factory," the Internet Research center, an unassuming building on St. Petersburg's Savushkina Street, which runs on a 24-hour cycle. In recent weeks, former employees have come forward to talk to RFE/RL about life inside the factory, where hundreds of people work grinding, 12-hour shifts in exchange for 40,000 rubles ($700) a month or more.

St. Petersburg blogger Marat Burkhard spent two months working at Internet Research in the department tasked with clogging the forums on Russia's municipal websites with pro-Kremlin comments. In the following interview, he describes a typical day and the type of assignments he encountered.

See the U.S. Army War College Research Project which describes the threat as being minimal but real enough to require close monitoring for any important changes in that risk.

It is one thing to have nuclear arms....it's another for any leader to initiate use ....and it's also another to threaten use. Thus far none have opened that lid. It's been used as a deterent.

I know what the Muslim beliefs are regarding their end times theology....and why the world leadership view is that Iran should not acquire Nuclear Bombs. I agree. Unlike our current President.

Both Russia and China have underground facilities for their people....we don't except for those elites to continue governance.

Ukraine has never been “Independent”...nor responsible for their own affairs. They've always been and likely will remain a welfare state dependent on outside influences to sustain them. Be it Russia or the EU/Nato nations. Further Ukraine has always been a divided nation....it's people have two different mindsets and always have had.

You wrote...” You and Russia do not get to come her all these decades later and pretend that Ukraine was a part of Russia, when the historical record clearly establish the Ukraine was not a part of Russia.”

To respond ..I am not involved with Ukraine nor Russia. Never have been. Never will be. Though you do seem to enjoy pigeon holing me into your imaginary idea of who or not is supporting Russia. As for Ukraine's History...it's there for any to investigate who annexed it's lands to Ukraine.

Had Putin wanted Ukraine he would have taken it long before now...he simply wants that which will protect his ports and access to the sea...and create the buffer zone he desires. Nobody really wants to deal with Ukraine....it's always been cannon fodder for one side or another...and a total headache for any nations who gets involved with it.

Wow.

Every now and again I get really excited about not being someone. You are such a person.

I can just HEAR the self-important ‘superiority’ pouring out of you.

How can you see the keyboard, looking down your nose at your monitor at me? LOL

You are dismissing her family’s long-term associations with the Iranians they knew and their culture. Her American socialization was apparently not significant enough to prevent the following to happen:

Thanks. I note the paper was written in 2007 (8 yrs ago), when for several yrs beforehand, Ahmadi-Nejad (AN) was the president in Iran (same time as George W. Bush who labelled Iran as "Axis of Evil"); AN spewing all sorts of threats, in the political arena too.

This paper explores allegations that the ultimate purpose of Iranian actions may be to set the stage for the coming of the “Mahdi” (or 12th Imam), in accordance with Shiite beliefs.

The author will look at the nature of the threat, define the belief in the Imam's return, focus on possible strategic motives for the Iranian nuclear program and discuss what may be done to counter any threat to the West.

Words in bold above aside, the paper is mostly a political and economic analysis, not a theological one on Mahdi in relation to "Iranian regime" or "Iranian muslim belief" in how and when Mahdi is meant to re-appear. Let's not confuse issues.

Your link mentions nothing about ValJar dating an Iranian.

It mentions, however, ValJar dating an American footballer "Ahmad Rashād (born Robert Earl Moore on November 19, 1949) is an American sportscaster (mostly with NBC Sports) and former professional football player." - Is that the one?

I think it's ridiculous you think every muslim is Iranian. Take a real good look at U.S. 'official' muslim allies too, in addition to individuals born and/or converted to Islam in the U.S.

Valerie Jarrett ? Radical Communist ? It seems ridiculously impossible.

Let’s take a little walk...

Step 1:

University: BA, Psychology, Stanford University (1978)
Law School: JD, University of Michigan Law School (1981)

Got that ?

Now, Step 2...

Member of the Board of USG (1998-)

I’d like to know how a 42-year old “radical communist” with degrees in psychology and law is a suitable candidate to serve on the board of directors of a large building materials company.

Fine, an anomaly. Ready ?

Step 3:

Member of the Board of Chicago Stock Exchange (2000-07)

Chairman, of the Board of Chicago Stock Exchange (2004-07)

I’d like to know how that same 44-year old “radical communist” with degrees in psychology and law is a suitable candidate to not only serve on the board of a stock exchange, but to be its chairman.

Getting weird. Would a stock exchange want a Communist on its board of directors ?

Ok, the pièce de résistance...

Step 4:

Member of the Board of Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (2006-07)

What ? The same now 50-year old “radical communist” with degrees in psychology and law is sitting on the board of

THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CHICAGO.

Head, meet sand.

I need to burrow my head ever deeper into the sand, and keep very loudly singing “La la la la la” to keep from entertaining the idea that maybe something has gone horribly wrong with my...

CAPITALIST MIND.

If a “leftist” President has a “leftist” as his top advisor, that makes logical sense.

But it boggles the little sheeple brain as to why a radical communist would want to work at a central bank. And even more nutty, why would the Federal Reserve even have a low-level manager that was a radical communist on staff ? Seems like oil and water.

And here we have the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago electing the radical communist to its Board of Directors !

She’s not just working at the Fed - she’s a key person in RUNNING the Fed !

Would someone who is not into conspiracy theories please give me a sensible explanation for this ?

Is Valerie a communist or not ?

Is the Federal Reserve a communist central bank ?

Does the Federal Reserve not have information that Valerie is a communist when it seems the information is plastered all over the internet ?

Was it just an oversight ?

Or do they know about it, but they can’t find non-communists that will “do the work” of serving on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago ?

Of course, we’re still left wondering... what’s up with not having a college degree in.. oh... I don’t know... maybe.... economics ? Finance of some kind maybe ? Naw. The Fed needs a good Psychologist / Lawyer on the board... just to “mix it up” a little.

How do you explain Ms. Jarrett’s meteoric rise to the uppermost echelons of Western Central Banking - if indeed she is a radical communist ?

[Sheeple]: Baaaaaaaaaaaa.

Capitalism and Communism/Socialism are primarily economic & social orientations. Political belief is secondary in that space.

Today’s Russia and China, as examples, are both Capitalist, for their top echelon at least, and anyone who goes along with them.

Ok... I appreciate your comment...

But can you help me out with my question ?

Firstly, I don’t know much about VJ except the regular stuff. That she speaks Persian & French with an American accent (not “Farsi and français” .. - note the difference) — :)

>>”“How do you explain Ms. Jarrett’s meteoric rise to the uppermost echelons of Western Central Banking - if indeed she is a radical communist ?””<<

Me no think she is a “radical communist”. Though, “wheeling & dealing” (control & manipulation) has always been part & parcel of the *Oligarchs’ way of life* (to put it commonly). In a sense, she, along with her like-minded “colleagues”, believe what’s good for a “few” ain’t good for “the lot” - :)

So communist countries would be basically slave states where the sheeple have little to no property ownership rights or wealth-gaining prospects due to nationalization, and their sole purpose in life is to work for the elite capitalists who back a puppet government and then provide financing and trade with the nationalized industries ?

I have my theories which I spout all the time; see my prior post.

But people so often say that “conspiracy theorists” like me are all wrong.

So I’m really asking for an answer to the Valerie question other than my theories, you know ?

Any possible other explanation, of how a “radical communist” could be elected to the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Nationalization is not necessarily the same as Communism.

Yes odds, I know that communism is not the only government that nationalizes.

But...

Have you ever seen a communist government that did not nationalize any industries at all ?

Also, do you have an answer to the question “how did radical communist Valerie get elected to the Board of the Chicago Fed” question ?

To: PieterCasparzen

To expand on my previous post:

IMO, nationalization means foreigners (outsiders) don’t own or have a direct stake in using your country’s resources to their own interests.

Communism, IMO, means sharing what resources you got equally among your own fellow citizens (within a country).

How did Valerie get elected to the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago? Depending on any laws for such ‘election’, I’d say as before, “wheeling & dealing”, “investment” & connections.

1. International Bankers in general are Leftists. They don’t like competition.

2. Obozo is a Leftist as is Val Jar. So was her father.

3. Why would a leftist like Bill Ayers get off scott free with his crimes is he was not “connected”.

4. The Traitor Bastards intend to destroy the US. Doing a fair job of it.

In the financial services sector, in some countries, in the 1990s and even 2000s, there was what is called “critical mass”. They called it mergers, but really they were takeovers; meant they wanted to “control” - akin to a monopoly and get all related benefits.
