Just pure speculation, but if he was a German Muslim adherent with homosexual leanings the I’d imagine he was pretty conflicted and unstable. If that were the case you’d at least think Lufthansa would have a clue, but maybe they’re too PC.
If the French prosecutor had said the copilot was a Muslim, it would be big news. Most likely your friend is mistaken in what he heard.
